Unfortunately, our apple trees were hit with a late-season frost that affected the apple blossoms this spring, causing a minimal yield. For this reason, we have closed the orchard to “pick your own” and will harvest the apples ourselves to maximize yield. We will have many apples in the coming weeks, but the “pick your own” will remain closed for the 2024 season.
Our “pick your own” Pumpkins will open sometime in mid to late September; starting September 7th, the farm activities will open every weekend. Until November 1st, this includes the playground area, wagon rides and the corn maze.
Sorry for whatever inconvenience this will cause, and we hope that you will still come out for everything else that Grills Orchards has to offer.
Thank you so much for your understanding. Knowing this is entirely out of our control, we expect a full crop in 2025.
This will not affect the supply of apples being sold in the store this year, and you can expect the same excellent service as always.
